SAVE International Certification: Value Methodology Fundamentals 1 (VMF1)
Individuals planning to become a Value Methodology Associate (VMA or a Certified Value Specialists (CVS®) are required to attend.

SAVE International Certification: Value Methodology Fundamentals 2 (VMF2)
Successful completion of the VMF 2 training course is one of the requirements for Certified Value Specialist certification through SAVE International.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
These courses are designed for individuals involved in planning, design and construction projects, including planners, architects, engineers, construction managers, contractors, cost estimators and owners. Additionally, individuals in manufacturing and industry including program managers, product managers, engineers, designers, etc. Learn an extremely valuable process to help you make improvements, seek out innovation and opportunities to projects, products and even the way you and your company does business. This course is also the first step in the certification process. Once you take the course and pass the VMA exam, you will obtain your first level of certification.

Renee Hoekstra, CVS - Managing Partner, RHA, LLC
Renee Hoekstra is a Managing Partner of RHA, LLC. She provides program development and facilitation services for design, design/build and construction projects. Her recent experience includes providing training and facilitation services for value engineering, partnering, team building, risk analysis and problem solving workshops for various public and private clients. This has included team development/partnering for over 3600 projects nationwide.
Renee has over 35 years of experience in the architecture, civil engineering and construction industry. This industry experience provides her with a better understanding of the needs of public agencies, private owners, contractors and designers. Renee has been a Certified Value Specialist since 2003 and has taught numerous VM training courses, as well as facilitation. She has a strong commitment to SAVE International and is the current Past President of the organization.
Patrice Miller, CVS - Managing Partner, RHA, LLC
Patrice M. Miller is a managing partner of RHA, LLC and provides professional facilitation services for planning and design projects. Her recent experience includes providing facilitation services for value engineering, public information/community outreach, strategic planning, and proposal development for public and private clients.
Patrice has over 25 years of experience in the architectural, civil engineering and construction industry. RHA believes this experience in the industry provides her with a better understanding of the needs of public agencies, private owners, contractors and designers. Her experience working with public agencies and her familiarity with the challenges and limitations which can be associated with public sector projects is valuable in guiding teams to build success.
